Mike has made many appearances in newspapers, TV, and Film. Mike's Son Buck, graduated from college with a degree in Film Production. His senior film was a full length documentary about Mike and his journey of moving to Alaska and starting Mike's Welding. The film won the award for "Best Alaskan Film" in the 2013 Anchorage International Film Festival. See the trailer below.
